The practice of Earth Field Introduction (field lecture I) is a field course based on the KKNI curriculum. This field course takes place in the Parangtritis area, which is a coastal area in the southern region of the Yogyakarta Special Region province. The Parangtritis area is an area with geological phenomena and diverse potential resources in the field of earth and energy. Therefore, the Parangtritis area was chosen to be the right object in order to introduce the basics of mining engineering, especially in the fields of exploration, mining, and commodity processing. The practice of Earth Field Introduction was carried out at the end of the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, precisely in January 2024. This activity was attended by more than 200 students of Semester 1 Class of 2023.
